This is the general Privacy Policy of Fulgor Labs and applies to all applications, websites, and services we publish — across the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and the web — unless a specific product provides its own supplementary policy. Throughout this document, "the App" or "the Service" refers to whichever Fulgor Labs product you are using.
Section 01

Introduction & Scope

Fulgor Labs ("Fulgor Labs", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

This policy covers every product published under the Fulgor Labs group, including our mobile applications, desktop and web applications, SaaS platforms, and the websites we operate. Where an individual product needs additional or different terms, a product-specific notice will be provided within that product or on its store listing and will be read together with this policy.

By downloading, accessing, or using any Fulgor Labs application or service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please discontinue use of our products.

Section 02

Who We Are (Data Controller)

Fulgor Labs is a digital products studio that designs and operates software applications and online services. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws (including the EU/UK GDPR), Fulgor Labs is the data controller of the personal data processed through our products, except where we act as a processor on behalf of a business customer.

Section 03

Information We Collect

The exact data we collect depends on the specific application and the features you use. Not every product collects every category listed below — we only collect what is necessary for that product to function.

3.1 Information You Provide

  • Account details — such as name, email address, or username when you register
  • Profile information — optional details you choose to add to your profile
  • User content — data, files, or text you create, upload, or submit within the App
  • Support communications — messages, feedback, and attachments you send us
  • Payment information — purchases are processed by Apple, Google, or our payment provider; we receive confirmation and subscription status but never store full card numbers

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information — device model, operating system and version, language, and region
  • App usage data — features used, in-app events, and general interaction patterns
  • Diagnostics — crash logs, performance data, and error reports
  • Identifiers — app instance ID or, where applicable, a device/advertising identifier
  • Approximate location — coarse location inferred from IP address (not precise GPS unless a feature explicitly requires it and you grant permission)

3.3 Data Categories Summary

CategoryExamplesTypical Purpose
Identity & ContactName, email, usernameAccount creation, support
Account & ProfilePreferences, settingsPersonalizing the experience
Usage & DiagnosticsEvents, crashes, performanceStability and improvement
DeviceModel, OS, languageCompatibility, troubleshooting
TransactionsSubscription status, receiptsBilling and entitlements
Section 04

Device Permissions

Some applications request access to device features to enable specific functionality. Permissions are only requested when needed, and you may grant or revoke them at any time in your device settings. Common permissions and their reasons include:

  • Camera / Photos — to capture, scan, or upload images when a feature requires it
  • Storage / Files — to save or import files you choose
  • Microphone — for voice or audio features, when applicable
  • Location — for location-based features you enable
  • Notifications — to send alerts and service updates you opt into
  • Network access — required for the App to connect to our servers and the internet
Denying a permission only disables the related feature — the rest of the App continues to work.
Section 05

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features
  • To create and manage your account and authenticate you
  • To process purchases, subscriptions, and entitlements
  • To send service-related communications and important notices
  • To diagnose problems, fix bugs, and improve performance and reliability
  • To understand how features are used so we can improve our products
  • To respond to your support requests and feedback
  • To protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising profiles.
Section 06

Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract — to deliver the service you requested
  • Legitimate interests — to secure, maintain, and improve our products
  • Consent — where you have given it (e.g. notifications, optional features)
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

Section 07

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the limited circumstances below:

7.1 Service Providers

We use trusted vendors (such as cloud hosting, payment processing, and analytics) who process data only on our instructions and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

7.2 Legal & Safety

We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Fulgor Labs, our users, or the public.

7.3 Business Transfers

If Fulgor Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction, with notice to affected users.

7.4 With Your Direction

We share information with others when you ask us to, or when you use a feature that involves sharing (for example, an integration you connect).

Section 08

Third-Party Services & SDKs

Our applications may integrate third-party services for core functionality, payments, and diagnostics. These providers handle data under their own privacy policies.

Apple (iOS)

  • StoreKit — in-app purchases and subscriptions
  • MetricKit / CrashReporter — performance and diagnostics

See the Apple Privacy Policy.

Google (Android)

  • Google Play Billing — purchases and subscriptions
  • Firebase / Crashlytics — analytics and crash reporting (where used)

See the Google Privacy Policy.

The specific third-party services used by an individual app are disclosed in that app's store data-safety / privacy nutrition label.

Section 09

Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.

  • Account data — retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of account closure (unless we must retain it by law)
  • Diagnostics & crash logs — typically retained up to 12 months, often in anonymized form
  • Transaction & billing records — retained as required by tax and accounting laws (commonly up to 7 years)

When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Section 10

Data Security

  • Encryption in transit using TLS
  • Encryption at rest for stored personal data
  • Strict access controls and the principle of least privilege
  • Regular monitoring, updates, and security reviews

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

Section 11

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion — request that we delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Restriction / Objection — limit or object to certain processing
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent

EEA/UK (GDPR) residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. California (CCPA/CPRA) residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share it), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, email privacy@fulgorlabs.com. We respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.

Section 12

Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. This complies with the Apple App Store and Google Play data-deletion requirements.

  • In-app — where available, use the "Delete Account" option in the app settings
  • By email — send a request to privacy@fulgorlabs.com from your registered email address

Upon a verified request, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except for limited information we are legally required to retain (such as transaction records for tax purposes), which is securely stored and then deleted when the legal period expires.

Section 13

Children's Privacy

Our products are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA, where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact privacy@fulgorlabs.com and we will promptly delete it. Apps directed at children, if any, will follow the additional requirements of COPPA and the relevant store's families/kids program.

Section 14

Cookies & Tracking

Our mobile applications generally do not use browser cookies. Our websites may use essential cookies and privacy-friendly analytics to operate and improve the site. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers. Where required, we request consent for non-essential cookies, and you can control cookies through your browser settings.

Section 15

International Data Transfers

Fulgor Labs operates globally, and your data may be processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent mechanisms to protect your information.

Section 16

Third-Party Links

Our products may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third party you interact with.
