Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up, no password, and no cloud profile. Open the app and start building — your resumes are stored in a database on your own device.

Is it really a one-time $1, not a subscription?

Yes. Resume Pilot Unlimited is a one-time purchase that unlocks all 69 templates, unlimited AI and unlimited exports for life. It is not a subscription and it never converts into one. The app is free to use before you buy, and your first export is always free.

What does "ATS-safe" mean?

Applicant Tracking Systems parse your resume into text before a human ever sees it, and complex multi-column layouts often scramble in that process. Our 21 ATS-safe templates use single-column, parser-friendly layouts to reduce that risk — and all 21 are free.

Note that no layout can guarantee how a specific employer's system will behave.

Does my resume get uploaded anywhere?

Your resumes are stored on your device and there is no server holding them. When you use Import, Scan, or Dictation, that specific text, image or audio is sent to our AI provider over an encrypted connection to be converted into structured text. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Can I export to Word, not just PDF?

Yes — both. Export a high-quality PDF ready to send, or a Word (.docx) file for recruiters and portals that insist on it, then share it by email, AirDrop, or straight into an application.

Will this get me a job?

We won't pretend so. Resume Pilot makes your resume clearer, better structured, and easier for automated screening to read — that's a real advantage, but hiring outcomes depend on your experience, the role, and the employer. Anyone promising you a job is selling something.

How do I delete my data?

Settings → delete all data wipes everything in one tap. Uninstalling the app also removes the local database entirely. Since we hold no account, there's nothing on a server for us to erase.
