Privacy Policy

Summary

This Privacy Policy explains how the SaveReel mobile application ("SaveReel", "the App") handles information. It applies to the SaveReel apps published by Fulgor Labs on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

SaveReel is a personal offline-viewing utility. You paste a media link you already have, the App resolves that link into a media file, and the file is saved to your device for offline viewing and playback. There is no account, no profile, and no social layer.

Who We Are

Fulgor Labs ("we", "our", or "us") develops and publishes SaveReel. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, including the EU and UK GDPR, Fulgor Labs is the data controller for any limited processing described in this policy.

Information We Collect

SaveReel does not collect personal information. Specifically, we do not collect or receive:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or date of birth
• Account credentials for any third-party service — SaveReel never asks you to log in anywhere
• Your contacts, calendar, precise GPS location, or microphone input
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID) or cross-app tracking data
• Your photo library contents — access is used only to save files you ask us to save

SaveReel contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no attribution or advertising SDK. There is no behavioural profile of you anywhere, because none is created.

Note that the app stores (Apple and Google) independently collect their own aggregate statistics — such as download counts and anonymised crash rates — under their own privacy policies. We only ever see anonymous, aggregated figures in their dashboards; we cannot identify you from them.

The Links You Paste (Important)

This is the one part of SaveReel where data leaves your device, so we want to be explicit about it.

When you paste a media link and ask SaveReel to fetch it, that link (URL) is transmitted to a third-party media-extraction service. That service reads the public metadata for the link and returns the direct media file address, which the App then uses to download the file to your device.

What is sent

• The media URL you pasted
• The standard network information any internet request includes, such as your IP address and a generic user-agent string

What is not sent

• Any identifier that links the request to you personally
• Your other clipboard contents, your library, or any previously downloaded file

Clipboard access is used only at the moment you open the App or tap Paste, purely to detect a link. Clipboard content is never stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere except as described above.

What SaveReel Stores On Your Device

Everything below is stored locally on your device only. It is not backed up to us, not synced, and not visible to us in any form.

You control all of it. Deleting an item removes it, and uninstalling SaveReel erases the entire local store.

Device Permissions

SaveReel requests only the permissions it needs to function, and only at the point they are needed. You can grant or revoke any of them at any time in your device settings — denying one disables just the related feature, not the whole app.

SaveReel does not request microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, or precise location access.

How We Use Information

Because we do not collect personal data, our use of information is limited to operating the App:

• Resolving a link you paste into a downloadable media file
• Downloading that file to your device and showing you its progress
• Displaying and playing back your own saved library
• Remembering your in-app preferences on your device
• Responding to you if you email us for support

Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade information. The limited third parties involved are:

• Media-extraction service — receives the link you paste in order to resolve it (Section 04).
• Apple App Store / Google Play — handle app distribution, and any in-app purchase if you make one. Payment details go directly to them; we never see or store your card information.
• Legal & safety — we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Fulgor Labs, our users, or the public.
• Business transfer — if Fulgor Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, with notice to affected users.

When you tap Share on a saved file, your device's own share sheet sends that file to whichever app you choose. That transfer is between you and that app; it does not pass through us.

Retention & Deletion

We hold no server-side record of you, so there is no account for us to retain or erase. Data lifetime is entirely in your hands:

• Individual items — delete any download from the Downloads tab at any time.
• Everything at once — uninstalling SaveReel permanently removes its local library, history, and settings from your device.
• Files saved to your gallery — these are yours; delete them from your Photos or Gallery app.
• Support emails — if you email us, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your issue, then delete it.

Security

• Network requests, including link resolution and downloads, use encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections
• Your library is stored in the App's private, sandboxed storage area provided by iOS and Android
• No credentials are collected, so there is no password database to breach
• The App holds no server-side user data, which removes an entire class of risk

No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we design SaveReel to hold as little data as possible — the strongest protection available.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent.

In practice, because SaveReel holds no personal data about you on our systems, most of these rights are satisfied directly on your device: your data is already exclusively in your possession, and deleting it is immediate and complete.

EEA / UK (GDPR) — where we do process anything, our legal bases are performance of the service you requested and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the App. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA) — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Children's Privacy

SaveReel is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. The App is rated for teen and older audiences.

Because SaveReel displays media supplied entirely by the user, we cannot pre-screen what a given link contains. Parents and guardians should supervise use accordingly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact dev.zakirkhan@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

International Data Transfers

The extraction service used to resolve links may operate servers outside your country, so a link you paste may be processed abroad. Where such transfers involve personal data, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms. No account data is transferred, because none exists.

Responsible Use & Content Ownership

SaveReel is a personal offline-viewing tool. You are responsible for how you use it.

• Only save media you created or have explicit permission to save.
• Respect the rights of the original creator and the terms of service of the platform the content came from.
• Do not use SaveReel to redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit content that is not yours.

SaveReel does not host, upload, index, recommend, or distribute any content, and does not circumvent any DRM, paywall, or access control. It cannot access private or paid content. Fulgor Labs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any third-party platform, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our technology, or legal requirements. When we make a material change we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised policy at this URL. Where appropriate we will also notify you in-app or via the store listing. Continued use of SaveReel after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
