Everything lands in the Downloads tab, split into Videos, Images, and Music. Re-share to any app, copy the original link or caption, or delete what you're done with.

Saved audio plays in a proper background player. Lock your phone and the track keeps going, with artwork and full controls on your lock screen and in Control Center.

Frequently asked

Do I need an account to use SaveReel?

No. There is no sign-up, no login, and no email required. Every feature is available the moment you open the app for the first time.

Where do my saved files go?

Files are saved to your device — either straight into your photo library or kept inside the app's Downloads library, depending on your preference. They stay on your device and are never uploaded to us.

Does SaveReel collect any personal data?

No account or personal data is collected. To resolve a link into a media file, the link you paste is sent to a third-party extraction service — this is the only data that leaves your device, and it is used solely to fetch the media. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Can I save anything I want?

No — and please don't. SaveReel is intended for media you created yourself or have explicit permission to save. Saving content you don't have the rights to may breach copyright law and the terms of service of the platform the content came from. You are responsible for how you use the app.

Does the audio keep playing when I lock my phone?

Yes. Saved audio plays through a proper background player with artwork and full transport controls on your lock screen, in Control Center (iOS), and in your notification shade (Android).

How do I delete my data?

Because nothing is stored on our servers, deleting the app removes everything associated with it. You can also delete individual items at any time from the Downloads tab. See the Support page if you need help.
